Everon Group is the European market leader in digital group living home care solutions, with offices in Norrköping (Sweden), Maidstone (UK) and Turku (Finland). Our team of around 70 employees collaborates to deliver innovative and trusted digital solutions across Europe.

At Everon, we offer a comprehensive product portfolio, from alarm buttons to AI-driven camera solutions. Our mission is to enhance social and elderly care through technology, empowering care professionals to focus on their clients and improve the quality of life for the elderly.

We are looking for an Infrastructure/Production Engineer to join our team in Finland or Sweden

We are looking for an Infrastructure/Production Engineer to take ownership of our production infrastructure and ensure smooth operations. Based in Finland or Sweden, you’ll lead incident responses, ensure systems run reliably and securely, and share on-call responsibilities with the three-person on-call team. This role is key to reducing operational load on our R&D team and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

We’re seeking someone experienced in managing production environments, proactive in improving monitoring and automating routine tasks, and confident in implementing security controls. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, working closely with colleagues across Finland, Sweden, and the UK. This hybrid role offers the chance to make a real impact on technology that enhances elderly care across Europe.

Your responsibilities:

  • Own infrastructure operations (Azure/AWS, RPM-based Linux)
  • Share on-call duty (1/3 rotation) and lead incident response
  • Improve monitoring and eliminate pre-incident noise (currently Zabbix-based)
  • Automate operational tasks (runbooks, log analysis, maintenance)
  • Handle database operations across MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and some NoSQL systems
  • Implement security controls for ISO27001, GDPR, and NIS2 compliance

Key requirements:

  • 5+ years running production systems with on-call experience
  • Strong Linux ops (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky- systemd, performance, security)
  • MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL operations (tuning, replication, backup/restore)
  • Azure or AWS experience (compute, networking, IAM)
  • Monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
  • Experience implementing security controls (ISO27001, GDPR, or similar frameworks)

Nice to have:

  • NoSQL operations (MongoDB, InfluxDB, Redis)
  • Kubernetes or container orchestration
  • NIS2 directive knowledge
  • Multi-tenant platform experience

Your approach and mindset:

  • Work autonomously and confidently figure things out without needing constant direction.
  • Take a pragmatic approach, knowing when to automate and when “good enough” is the right call.
  • Thrive on collaboration and build strong partnerships with developers rather than working in silos.
  • Communicate with clarity, creating post-mortems and documentation that people find useful.
  • Embrace ambiguity and adapt easily to the fast-changing environment of a small company.

Our setup: Multi-cloud (Azure + AWS), multi-tenant platform, ~20 person R&D team, offices in Finland and Sweden. Hybrid work model - expect to be in office ~50% of time.
